Segun Toriola claims his second Table Tennis medal.
Nigerian, Segun Toriola, now has a gold medal to complement the bronze he won earlier in the Men's Singles after Nigeria beat England's Andrew Baggaley and Andrew Rushton in straight games, 3-0.
Despite Toriola’s knee injury from his earlier performance in the Men's Singles Bronze Medal Match, he and team-mate, Monday Merotohun, were in terrific form from the outset, taking the first game 11-4.
The second game was a competitive affair, with the game going point-for-point until a sleek top spin from the Nigerians ensured a win at 11-9.
The Nigerians fought their way to game ball at 10-7 in the third game when Rushton served a fault, giving Toriola and Merotohun the game and the gold medal.
