Australian duo David Palmer and Dan Jenson advanced to the Men's Doubles semi final, by defeating Welshmen David Evans and Alex Gough in a near two-hour encounter. The final score was 3-1.
"We are in a good position now. We just need to try as hard as we can," said David Palmer on the semi final.
Fifth-seeded Campbell Grayson and Martin Knight of New Zealand advanced to the semi finals after beating fourth seeds, England's Nick Matthew and James Wilstrop, 3-1.
Australians Stewart Boswell and Anthony Ricketts have also moved through to the Men’s Doubles semi finals after beating South Africa's Rodney Durbach and Adrian Hansen in five games.
Boswell and Ricketts, the top seeds in the men's doubles competition, now face surprise semi finalists New Zealand’s Grayson and Knight.
The New Zealand pair of Shelley Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey powered into the Women’s semi finals in an epic encounter against England's Tania Bailey and Vicky Botwright.
The top two teams in Pool B of the Women's Doubles didn't disappoint with Kitchen and Leevy needing five games before winning 3-2.
The result will see an all New Zealand Women’s semi final.
In the Mixed Doubles, Joe Kneipp and Natalie Grinham of Australia are the first pair through to the semi finals after defeating the Welsh duo of Gavin Jones and Tegwen Malik 3-1.
