Other Megan's playing strengths include reading the game well and great agility and creativity in play.

Megan's most memorable sporting moment was coming from six goals down with five minutes remaining to win the 2004 Commonwealth Bank Trophy Premiership with her team the Sydney Swifts.

She joined the Australian Institute of Sport in 1994, and the Australian Open Team in 2000. She was the runner up Australian player of the year in 1999 and is coached by Julie Fitzgerald.

Aside from netball, Megan also enjoys playing touch football and running. Her favourite foods are Vietnamese cuisine and fruit and her favourite film is Good Will Hunting. Her nicknames are Angry and Megsie.
