Other Bronte picked up five gold medals at the Junior Pan Pac titles in Hawaii in 2005. She won the 50m, 100m and 200m Freestyle events before leading Australia to gold medals in both the 4x100m and 4x200m Freestyle relays.

She swam five personal bests to win five gold medals at the 2005 Fisher & Paykel Australian Age Championships in Brisbane.

Also in 2005, she qualified for her first senior Australian team, earned a World Championship medal and claimed her first ever Australian open title.
