Other At only 14, Marie is the youngest member of the Canadian swim team.

Earlier in 2006 Marie was declared the Female Junior Sportsperson of the Year at the prestigious Gala Sport-Quebec, and recieved the Maurice trophy.

The Melbourne Games are Marie's first international event. Once the games are completed she will be travelling to Shanghai with the Canadian Junior Squad to compete at the 8th FINA World Short Course Swimming Championships.
