Injuries Adine twisted her right knee early in 2005 and consequently injured her meniscus, which sidelined her for a few months.
Other Adine is known as a gifted athlete who made an immediate impression when she was called into the Silver Ferns in 1999. She is an athletic player and her quick hands and height are valuable assets, while her versatility offers a range of options positionally.

She has been named captain for the Commonwealth Games and was also skipper of the side for the recent Fisher & Paykel Test Series against England. She took out Player of the Match for the first test as well as Player of the Series.

She grew up in Hawera and has played netball in Taranaki, Otago and most recently for Southland, in the Southern Sting.

She was also named Player of the Series for the 2004 National Bank Cup.

Off the court, she has completed a double degree in Law and Physical Education.
