Injuries Casey was forced on to the sidelines for six weeks in September 2005 after injuring her ankle at the National Provincial Championships.
Other Casey began her New Zealand representative career playing for the New Zealand Secondary Schools team and has risen quickly through the ranks to become one of the youngest members of the current Silver Ferns squad.

Standing at 187cm, Casey's tremendous elevation and instinctive reading of the game make her a dangerous defender who will only improve with experience.

She combines her role in the Silver Ferns squad with the New Zealand Under 21 team.

She fought her way into the 2005 Silver Ferns squad after a series of outstanding performances in the 2004 season.

Casey is a product of the Magic Development team. She grew up with the wide open spaces of a Matamata dairy farm at her fingertips, but has since replaced that with a flat in Hamilton while she spends three years studying at WinTech.
