Other Known as the Silver Ferns' pocket rocket, Temepara is one of the most flamboyant players in the game today.

A tenacious player and a crowd favourite, Temepara has a strong presence on court and never gives her opposition easy ball.

She makes up for her lack of height with blistering speed, tremendous elevation and a wide array of ball skills. She also covers large areas of the court with dynamic impact and is equally effective on attack and defence.

She was named Player of the Match in the third test of the Fisher & Paykel Series against England in March 2005.

She is a mother of two, and describes the highlight of her career as beating Australia at any time.
