Other Belinda is one of the veterans of the Silver Fern side, having been captain from 1997 to 1999 as well as collecting over 60 international caps and being a Fern regular for over seven seasons.

She has also represented New Zealand in basketball - even going to the Sydney Olympics - but gives her reason for playing netball as for the love of the game.

She is famous for her strength on the ball, drive into the goal circle, and her sure pair of hands and no-nonsense attitude.

Her almost-veteran status in the Silver Fern side means she is known as one of the most reliable players in the team.

She spent part of 2005 coaching in England as she was expecting her first child.
