Other Yen Hui Kendrick Lee is often referred to as Kendrick Lee.

He studied information technology at Singapore Polytechnic, but took a break from the course to concentrate on badminton.

Kendrick won a Meritorious Award from the Singapore National Olympic Committee in 2004.

With Ronald Susilo injured for a large part of 2005, Kendrick took his place as the highest ranked Singaporean shuttler.
