Spectators at the Games will have the chance to share the excitement with friends and family - with a special selection of celebratory stamps. Commuters and Games spectators will get daily tips for the best way to travel into Melbourne, as part of a package of measures to make commuting during the Games easy. With the Opening Ceremony just 16 days away, the MCG is currently being transformed on a scale never seen before in Australia. When 3,100 media personnel descend on Melbourne for the Games, among their number will be nine talented young people from across the Commonwealth - youth reporters for Plan. The streets of Melbourne and regional Victoria are set to light up with Australia’s biggest ever free arts and culture festival, as celebrations for the Games start early. Socceroos coach Guus Hiddink has become the first to send a Telstra HeroMessage which allows fans to send a message of support and congratulations to Australia’s athletes.
