Upswing - Voices

Upswing - VoicesFrom England

The power of two . . .

With unique and breathtaking skill, UpSwing's aerial performance - enacted 10 metres above the ground - poignantly dramatises the relationship between an African mother and her daughter. Full of warmth and humour, Voices take its inspiration from an anthology of African proverbs, and explores themes of parental love and letting go.

Originally commissioned by Greenwich and Docklands Festivals, and the Mayor of London. Supported by the Arts Council of England.
