Lunchtime ForumsA chance to meet the artists of Festival Melbourne2006 in person and hear their remarkable stories. Each day visiting and local artists will  discuss their work, their lives, their influences and their countries in this series of lunchtime forums at Federation Square. No reservations required.

  • 18 March Lunchtime Forum at BMW Edge: Medalling on Request.
     Artists Vicki Mason, Stephen Gallagher and Belinda Newick discuss the process of designing commissioned work to a theme. Facilitated by Katherine Wilkinson.
  • 19 March Lunchtime Forum at BMW Edge: Out of Africa, Pakistan and other Commonwealth countries.
    Curators and project coordinators of Festival Melbourne2006 exhibitions, including
    Mick Douglas (W-11Karachi to Melbourne), Stuart Koop (Nagaa – Borana Relocation) and Kevin Murray (Common Goods; Cultures Meet Through Craft) discuss taking elements of everyday life into an art context. Facilitated by Dr Chris McAuliffe.
